the accounting manager role requires candidates to follow established policies and procedures, prepare financial management and regulatory reports for review by the cfo and president/ceo, respond to questions and provide information upon request from members along with assisting members in understanding credit union products and services. if you meet the qualifications listed below – apply now!

candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for accounting manager:

  • ba/bs in accounting or finance preferred. additional experience combined with an aa degree may be considered.
  • minimum 3-5 years experience in financial institution or public accounting firm.
  • demonstrated knowledge of gaap, credit union regulations and financial reporting.
  • responsibilities for accounting manager include but are not limited to:

  • prepare monthly financial reports such as balance sheet, income and expense report and assist with annual budget preparation. file required reports with irs and assist with quarterly filing of ncua 5300 call report.
  • perform reconcilement, research and problem solve on general ledger accounts, wire transfers, ach and bank reconciliations. process vendors invoices, post payments to appropriate vendors, generate 1099 forms.
  • supervise activities of financial operations and card services staff. coaches and counsels staff as necessary.

  • salary range $60,000 to $85,000/yr
  • monday – friday, 9am to 5pm est.  hybrid schedule - 2 days remote and 3 days onsite.
