the powder coater role:

as a powder coater, you will play an important role in the business’s manufacturing processes, powder coating aluminium extrusions, casted components, panels and assist with the assembly of accessories to ensure orders are made to the correct specification and dispatched on time, as well as ensuring the company meets its sales targets.

duties: (including but not limited to)

preparing and powder coating materials/parts for stock colours and maintaining stock levels of painted parts to maximise production efficiencies.
powder coating materials for special colours as and when ordered by customers.
maintaining an orderly stock system to enable boxes of powdered paint to be identified quickly.
advising purchasing of materials required including but not limited to, powder colours, ppe, relevant chemicals, machine parts etc.
keeping areas worked in clean and tidy.
spray gun maintenance

spray booth maintenance
maintain a safe and clean working environment.
follow work instructions to fulfil orders to customer specifications
follow procedures and processes accurately for consistent quality outputs
contribute to team effort by accomplishing related targets/results as needed.

general workshop duties to assist with the on-time dispatch of orders, including assembling brackets/accessories, picking, and packing stock items for orders, sorting goods out etc.
work carried out in accordance with standards as set out in the company quality and environmental policy for iso 9001:2015 and iso 14001 :2015
