live-in general assistant couple for berkshire / oxfordshire country pub.

good, self-contained private accommodation offered, 3 minutes’ walk from the pub.

all-inclusive rent, per couple of just £50 per week. this includes all bills paid, broadband, fridge, microwave, cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer and heating.

we are looking for a good reliable and hardworking couple to join our friendly team in these permanent full-time positions.

friendly team & nice working environment, with a good rate of pay, plus a share of tips.

hourly rate, of £10.50, plus minimum tips of £1.50 per hour, so, minimum hourly rate of £12.00 per hour, per person.

5 day week, 2 days off together, with, an average 40 hours per week available.. we are normally closed and days off are monday and tuesday. you would normally finish around 6pm on a sunday and start back again on wednesday morning.

positions we are looking to fill:

front of house, bar & waiting assistant: to join our front of house team, supporting us in the day-to-day running of the pub, bar & food service, plus occasional general cleaning duties. you will be well presented, friendly, conscientious and have excellent customer service skills.

kitchen & back of house general assistant: duties will include general washing up duties, by both machine and hand, plus general commercial kitchen cleaning and tidiness, plus, assisting chefs with veg prep and general running of the kitchen etc….

previous experience is a bonus, but enthusiasm and a good team ethic is a must.
