adecco is hiring immediately for production operators with a local client in kansas city, kansas. production operators perform essential duties with pay starting at $17/hour, plus available overtime. in this role, you will be a crucial part of our client's operations - ensuring a quality product is available to their customers when they need them. under general supervision, you will handle and maintain the flow of materials and fresh products in a manufacturing area, according to various job-specific guidelines and shared technical guidance.

shifts available:

monday through friday 7am to 3:30pm

 

responsibilities may include the following:

hoist parts which are between 10 lbs to 100 lbs

scan labels from the tagger to generate work instructions

ensure parts are appropriately aligned onto the production line

might be involved in any role regarding loader, unloader, and/or non-painting processes

responsible for removing dirt, grease, and/or specks from all items before they go into painting department

must have a great eye for detail and an ability to consistently pay attention to standards

ensures no paint is on vital components - either machinery or slots for threaded bolts, etc.

reviews after painting process to ensure complete coverage and to sand, scrape, or drill off imperfections

 

requirements:

able to lift 25 lbs to 50 pounds all day long

order picking, inventory control, and loading/unloading experience preferred

steel-toed shoes and/or boots are required
