my client is a leading estate agency, specialising in _ "lettings" _ and seeks a tenacious and driven tenancy manager for their student lettings division.
day to day duties will include: -
oversee a portfolio of property lets
arrange and oversee ongoing maintenance and undertake inspections to comply with all relevant laws, codes, and company policies
oversee the tenant selection process through interviews and background checks
collection of rental income, invoice payments
prepare the annual budget and report on financial performance regularly
manage on-site staff and vendor and contractor relationships
resolve tenant complaints, violations, and issues
prepare and maintain all records, correspondence and data files
establish and maintain relationships with tenants and landlords/clients
attributes required: -
excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
it literate - microsoft office
manage your own workload, priorising tasks in a methodical and organised manner
hold a full uk driving license essential
proactive and a natural problem solver
trustworthy and reliable
a team player but able to work with minimal supervision after a full training introduction programme
hours of work: -
monday - friday 8.30-17.30 with occasional saturdays 10-16.00 with a day off in lieu.
(40 hours per week).
salary: - gbp21k plus commision (ote circa gbp23k) with career development pathway.
