about this role:
the human resources generalist will provide support for hr initiatives and services. the successful candidate will be a highly qualified, results-oriented professional who will assist with all aspects of the employee life cycle from recruiting/onboarding to employee exit procedures, including performance management, compensation planning, employee relations, benefits management support.

duties/responsibilities:
support and assist the director of human resources.
administer new hire on-boarding and orientation.
responsible daily for the tracey time & paycor data entry including employee’s attendance and pto hours.
maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
coordinate changes, open enrollments, and training for employee benefits programs.
communicate all personnel changes including hires, terms, transfers, rate changes, and bid sheets.
develop effective recruitment strategies with the human resources team.
maintain and organize employees’ personnel records.
assist with payroll processing
audit monthly safety training paperwork
must maintain general housekeeping and an orderly work area.
responsible for all other procedures and instructions as required by the job function.
must adhere to all safety and environmental policies.
all other duties as assigned by the director of human resources or any member of management.
requirements/key attributes:
high school diploma/ged; associates degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred
at least three years of human resource management experience preferred.

excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.

thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
proficient with microsoft office suite or related software.
proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s systems.
