job summary

the maintenance mechanic is responsible for performing duties to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors systems, and hydraulic systems or tools.

 

essential repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and related machine malfunctions and operating machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments to involve dismantling, inspection, machining, or replacement of purchased used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring functional parts of devices and control repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines, following, schematics, diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering maintenance information by answering questions and safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and to a team effort by accomplishing related results as high awareness of personal safety at all times.
