the team are the central point of contact for customers placing orders, making enquiries, and coordinating machine allocation and deliveries/collections.

in brief this trainee hire desk controller position involves:

taking hire enquiries via telephone, email, and our online ordering system and processing them on to our hire systemchecking availability of machines and operators and ensuring that order statuses are always up to date on our systemscoordinating with the engineering and transport teams to ensure that the correct machines are ready and available to be delivered to customer sitesdealing with customer queries, complaints, and damagesdealing with customers professionally and politely at all times, and maximising sales using your product knowledgemaintaining health and safety standards within the hire officecommunicating effectively with other colleagues, and providing a helpful and friendly point of contact for depot enquirieswe welcome applications for this trainee hire desk controller role from candidates with an interest in expanding their skills in the following areas: business, administration, admin, nvq, apprenticeship, customer service, telephony, email, communication, it literate, apprenticeship, communication, administrator, office.
