Goods- in operative - united kingdom, leicester, leicestershire

gi group are looking for candidates to work for out client in leicester.

as a goods in operative you will be responsible for safe receipting of goods from supplier deliveries and off site storage locations. ensuring accuracy and quality control through best practice.

pay

£26,000.00 per annum

the hours are working 9 hours per day between 6.00am and 6.00pm monday to friday (45 hours per week).

confirmed hours will be on the day of interview

to ensure that company warehouse procedures are executed accurately and effectively to safeguard stock integrity and customer service levels. including but not limited to:

* management of the goods-in calendar

* scheduling of incoming deliveries

* receipt of deliveries

* quality control of all incoming stock

* put away

* booking in of stock

* summary reporting and checking to ensure accuracy

support the warehouse and stock team with the following:

* stock relocation and consolidation

* replenishment

* returns management

* stock checking

liaise with relevant departments regarding any issues relating to incoming stock, including:

* discrepancies and damages

* delays and transit issues

* load and pallet quality

* paperwork errors

previous goods in background is essential
