adecco staffing is working with a manufacturing plant in milford, nh who is looking for a manufacturing maintenance technician on 2nd shift!

***this is a direct hire opportunity with no temp period required***

yearly salary:

  • $20.00-$30.00 per hour based on prior experience
  • the hours:

  • 2nd shift: sunday-thursday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • during our busy season, we may work 1-2 saturdays a month depending on customer demand. busy season is typically august-december, but is subject to change based on production needs.

    our client is seeking a maintenance technician to work 2nd shift. you will perform routine repairs and maintenance of alene candles facilities and support equipment. you will troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical/mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing areas. you should be able to read and understand schematics and technical drawings. you will have good electrical and mechanical ability and knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. you should understand the principals and theories of mechanical/electrical repair and maintenance techniques as well as those of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. you should have strong problem solving skills and be able to work in a team environment. you should have 1-3 years of experience depending on your education.

    job details:

  • maintain and repair production and building support equipment (including automated, pneumatic and hydraulic machinery).
  • perform various types of facility maintenance to include basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
  • implement preventive maintenance and repair procedures to expedite timely repairs and reduce lost production time.
  • maintain maintenance documentation for the equipment.
  • use of welders, acetylene torches and brazing or soldering equipment.
  • drive the company’s box-truck between buildings when necessary.
  • maintain alene standards of performance and comply with housekeeping, safety policies and procedures.
  • perform other related tasks as directed.
  • qualifications:

  • high school diploma or general education degree (ged) with 3 years of practical experience or graduate of a technical school with 1 year of practical experience. a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • pc skills to include at minimum microsoft word and excel.
  • strong basic skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
