to add to their existing team of amazing and dedicated staff, they are seeking to recruit solo placements support workers to work within their properties across the leeds/yorkshire area. the ideal candidate will have a genuine interest working within this sector and will be looking for a challenging but rewarding role.

you will have proven experience working with challenging young people within different environments. your focus will be supporting vulnerable young people with 24/7 placements including a sleep, you can expect to work shifts on a rolling rota.

shifts are from 10am until 10am the following day with a sleep from 12am until 8pm.

the role requires you to travel throughout the leeds/yorkshire region.

so, holding a full uk drivers licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. mileage is paid at 45p per mile.

the annual salary is based on completing 10 shifts per month including sleeps at a rate of £10.20 per hour and £71.28 per sleep.

essential

previous experience working within children’s residential setting, or experience working with 16+ young people.

computer literategood interpersonal skillsexcellent verbal and written communication skillsexperience of writing detailed reportsthorough knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and childrenhave or be working towards nvq level 3 health and social carerelevant experience and understanding of work with vulnerable and challenging young peopledriver is preferred so service users can be transported to appointments.happy and positive attitude, enthusiastic and motivatedgood time-keeping skills and reliability
