we are looking for a mammography technologist to join our beautiful facility near reno, nevada. this is a full time, permanent position for day shift only. no nights or weekends. not in reno? relocation assistance offered!

 

position summary:

 

the mammography technologist is responsible for performing a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. this includes diagnostic mammography, dexa and other x-ray procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.

 

required education and experience:

 

high school graduate; bs degree preferred.

certification by the american registry of radiologic technologists (aart) in radiography and certified/board eligible in mammography.

certified in the state of nevada to practice and administer radiation (if relocating for position, facility will assist with nevada certification)

one-year mammography experience preferred.

current bcls certification.
