brief
as part of the sales office team, you will act as the connecting piece between the external customer and our area sales managers.
the role requires you to perform several key activities to maintain the smooth and efficient running of the department, such as dealing with customer requests, providing quotations and other information such as stock availability, proposed delivery dates and current prices. you will report directly to the customer services manager.
it is paramount that you have an understanding and awareness of the requirement to enter and produce all sales orders in an accurate and efficient manner at all times.
person specification
you should have a strong background working in a fast-paced order entry environment with a proven ability to multi-task whilst remaining calm under pressure.
you must have excellent attention to detail coupled with a can- do, positive attitude and disposition.

job duties & responsibilities
order processing - accurately input customer orders
dealing with customer queries over the phone and via email, responding effectively and efficiently
provide customer quotations
liaising with other departments where necessary
provide outstanding pre and post sales customer service, whilst managing customer expectations
answer and direct calls to the appropriate person(s) / department(s)
inform the customer service manager / senior management of any issues/difficulties relating to orders/operations
maintain exceptional customer relations
undertake any other reasonable tasks as directed by the customer service manager and/or senior management
