we are a leading provider of legal services in gloucestershire, specialising in property, agriculture and private client law. due to continued growth, we now have an exciting permanent opportunity for a paralegal to join us working with our commercial property/agriculture client base. you will offer legal support within the firm, eventually working on and building your own caseload. you will be involved in a wide range of legal transactions within commercial property/agriculture, becoming thoroughly engaged with our business and have a caseload working with clients ranging from local businesses, high-net-worth individuals and long established farming families.

as a small, family business we offer a supportive environment in which you can flourish and develop your legal career. a training contract will be considered for suitable candidates after a suitable period of employment.

about you

you will have an undergraduate degree in law, preferably 2:1 or above (or undergraduate degree in another area with a law conversion course). ideally you will also have a professional qualification such as an lpc or equivalent. you may have previous paralegal experience preferably gained within agricultural/commercial property law. familiarity with agricultural terminology, documentation and procedures would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

you will need to be a confident communicator, able to deal with a wide range of clients with tact and diplomacy. a team working ethic is essential as is an excellent eye for detail and accuracy. enthusiastic and keen to learn, you will desire a long term career in commercial/agricultural law and have a keen interest to develop in these areas within our organisation.
