Warehouse operative - united kingdom, somerset

gi group are currently recruiting x2 warehouse operatives to join our well established client in portbury.

hours: 8am-4.30pm

pay rate: £10.99 per hour

o/t available - £16.49 over 7.5 hours per day and saturdays

location: portbury, bristol

reporting to: warehouse manager

our client is looking for new talent to join the company as they start to expand as lock down restrictions are lifted. you will be part of a very friendly and welcoming team and if successful will be offered a permanent position. there are some great opportunities to progress and relocate (if desired)

your duties as a warehouse operative will include:

- prepping gas cylinders

- ensuring cylinders have correct labels and product codes

- checking cylinders for defects/damage

- moving gas cylinders around warehouse (pallet truck and manual handling training provided)

- scanning cylinders to be returned to customers using in-house system

the ideal warehouse operative will:

- be punctual

- be looking for a long term position

- have warehouse experience

must be able to speak basic english
