we are currently working with an innovative, family-run sme who are seeking a customer service account manager to join their team based in leighton buzzard. the main purpose of this role is to oversee an existing portfolio of active accounts, whilst supporting the external bdm's with back office support. responsibilities: manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success, developing positive relationships with clients generate new business using existing and potential customer networks provide solutions to customers in a timely manner suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth general administration duties related to sales activity including quotes, presentations, proposals, and tenders proactively drive customers to ordering online requirements proven work experience within a sales or customer service role is preferable excellent communication and negotiation skills a self-motivated team player with enthusiasm and can-do attitude strong prioritisation and organisational skills willing to support the team with projects as needed hours:07.30 to 16.30 (mon-fri) benefits salary between gbp30,000 to gbp35,000 per annum doe kpi bonus pension free on-site parking facilities full training will be provided
