adecco staffing is working with a manufacturing company in milford, nh who is looking for an additional mold machine operator on 2nd shift! this is a temp to hire position.
job title: machine operator
pay:
2nd- $19.80 per hour based on experience
schedule:
2nd- 3:00pm to 1:15pm monday through thursday
responsibilities:
the mold operator / inspector is responsible for producing machined parts by operating a molding machine
they will also inspect the product produced to determine if it is acceptable and meets quality specifications
operate injection molding machine
operate blending machine and be able to combine raw pellets together
work from drawings, blueprints, sketches, verbal or written instructions, work orders, and process sheets
report defective materials, scrap, quality problems, or any other unusual condition or circumstance to a technician and / or supervisor immediately
fill machine hoppers
maintain records and other pertinent data as instructed or required
responsible for product quality - work must be inspected to ensure conformity to specifications and quality standards before, during, and after completion
inspect products for surface defects and flaws
position and secure threaded cores and / or overmolds into mold
follow established procedures as well as quality and safety standards
maintain a safe and clean work environment
qualifications:
ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers & calipers
must be able to read & interpret blueprints
high school diploma or general education degree (ged) required;
1+ years' related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
this position requires good manual dexterity and visual acuity to manipulate micrometers, calipers, and other precision hand tools
strong communication and interpersonal skills a must
thread rolling experience required
this position may require standing for long periods of time, up to 8 hours per day
this position required the ability to lift 30+ lbs
