Security inspector - united kingdom, bournemouth, dorset
we have an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to work monday - friday (0800 hrs - 1630 hrs), although flexibility is required depending on workload.
how will you make an impact as a security inspector:
conduct physical site security checkscomplete and submit security event reports and physical security check recordsresponsible for regular checking/auditing of security and emergency response equipmentphysical security presence at events (as directed)assist with the delivery of customer's corporate security campaignlocal site operator and management liaisonpromotion of security throughout the customer's geographical operating areaadvise and help to establish the security of the sitesassist with the investigation of any breaches or possible areas where security could be breachedmake recommendations to prevent further security incidentsbe prepared to respond to taskings at short noticeassist with supervised access for security contractorsprovide advice and guidance to customer staff (as directed)essential skillswhat will you bring to this position:
the right to work in the ukable to provide a 5-year checkable history.must be able to write clear and concise in-depth reports on investigative findingsa clean and current driving licencea very good knowledge of security proceduresexcellent written and oral communication skillsbe able to work on your own initiativeremain calm under pressuregood knowledge of the customer's geographical operating areapossess a high level of security awareness and knowledge of terrorist threats/tacticsmust be computer literatemust have current sia guarding licence (minimum)these duties and accountabilities should not be regarded as exclusive or exhaustive as the post holder may be required to undertake other reasonably determined duties within the company, commensurate with the status of the job. the post holder may be expected to work out of hours & weekends on occasions in response to the customers requirements.
