adecco medical and science is assisting our client to find a medical assistant in west hollywood, ca. 

position summary

1. initiate patient visit in emr which includes taking patient weight and other vitals

2. complete pharmacy refills in emr portal

3. receives patients’ phone calls for refills and monitors their fax requests

4. place medical supplies orders under the supervision of the head nurse

5. draw blood, give injections and perform ekgs (if needed)

6, assist dr. berenson with bone marrow biopsies

qualifications:

requires both the covid vaccination and booster shot since this is an oncology clinic. also requires tb shots/testing

certificate/diploma showing completion of medical assistant courses/training

 cpr training certificate

2-3 years of clinic/hospital experience

excellent analytical and verbal communication skills

excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask

assignment: contract to hire

schedule: m-f 8am-430pm
