team overview:

human truths are our platforms global human behavior experts. it is a team of strategists and analysts, who are passionate about consumer behavior and uncovering “a-ha” data-driven insights for global brands. we believe that great insight comes from putting data into context. as such, we bring together a powerful alchemy of three critical components that go into each project we work on: data, qualitative research and cultural monitoring.

 

overall responsibilities:

this role will be critical in helping support the build & the development of human truths’ internal community of sellers that we engage with to scale our work regionally. our goal is to enhance our connections with local markets, new teams and verticals as we aim to expand our collective impact. as the americas community manager, you will be accountable for three main tasks:

create an active community of company sellers in us, brazil, mexico, ca and other amer countries: recruit, bring together and inspire our sales employees while fostering an environment of inspiration, knowledge sharing, community brainstorming and mutual support.

actionability of insights: to drive actionability amongst our core community, we will strive to identify specific market needs while connecting those dots between human truths’ work and the sellers objectives. 

increase reach and enablement: by helping bring human truths’ unique global perspective to the amer market, you will bring value adds to current work streams while expanding the scope/coverage of ht research through vertical customization and regional localization. 

 

top daily responsibilities:

  • build a small but mighty ht amer community within the amer region. manage, oversee and foster the community through regular email updates, quarterly summits, monthly syncs and newsletters, etc. 
  • help develop programs, curriculum, trainings and initiatives around human truth materials.  
  • lead and share research roadmap, invite input and feedback, be the boots on the ground by being aware of what's going on around the other regions and how you can bring these learnings back to amer, share case studies, etc.
  • develop 20% project role descriptions in partnership with human truths strategists. 
  • create swag to bring the global community together to create a bit of fun! 
  •  

    develop monthly newsletters for each industry sector to bring relevant human truths content to the forefront for our community members across the region. i.e make our cross-vertical work more immediately actionable for sellers that sit within verticals.

    develop “specializations” for ht amer community members along with a bespoke learning track for skill development - e.g. storytelling, ht data methodologies, star presenters, etc. 

    drive effective communication: create a strong line of communication and build a strong relationship with ht amer community members through: scheduling weekly 1:1s, office hours, monthly group syncs, etc. you are responsible for staying up to date with all members and provide support where needed. 

    share collateral roadmap: assist in developing the current human truths collateral roadmap in order to inform future topics while surfacing & scaling content to the amer ht amer community in a timely manner. develop innovation solutions to scale our work quickly. 

    close knowledge gaps: expertly assess potential knowledge gaps within the ht amer community (ie through surveys, conversations) and how you can help upskill our community members. creating 360° feedback loops giving the community ways to share input, collect success stories and scale learnings to the greater community. 

    management check-ins: coordinate with manager on a frequent basis to provide updates and where you need support

     

    skill/experience/education

    mandatory

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ experience, community management/engagement of any type, preferably marketing / advertising or brand.
  • writing skills and flexible communication styles necessary.
  • ability to foster and grow internal communities and drive action through community members
  • strong cross functional stakeholder management
  • experience working and presenting to a variety of professionals in different roles across sales, product, marketing
  • familiarity with consumer behavior insights and data insights
  • experience in project management and working within deadlines
  • excellent at navigating ambiguity and change
  • quick and independent in execution, able to connect with relevant teams and colleagues seamlessly and proactively.
