Project manager - united states, jamestown (new york)

adecco is actively looking to fill a direct hire project manager role for their corporate offices, with one of the largest retailers in the united states! this role will primarily oversee and support the planning and delivery of office, data center, and infrastructure projects in the eastern region. 

job details:

management of all projects & program activities; taking into consideration delivery, safety, cost and the ability of the project to meet end users needs.

oversee project design from test fits through various project phases. in charge of scoping, design dev, scheduling, awarding contracts, estimating, bidding, cost control and change management/project accounting, construction and turnover

be proactive in management of contractors  throughout the project. implement, manage and maintain construction budgets and schedules according to policies and procedures.

coordinate all aspects of the project with internal departments. manage project to  create minimal disruption to ongoing business activities  in the facilities.

maintain detailed  knowledge of all assigned projects and schedules.

liaise with all stakeholders including: architects, general contractors, furniture vendors, local authorities, etc.

requirements:

bs degree in engineering, architecture or construction with min of 7 years project management experience in retail, office or industrial sectors.

knowledge of electrical, hvac, and all other building infrastructure systems. 

must have the basic understanding of data  center operations and data center infrastructure requirements.

excellent technical skills - mostly working in ms word and ms excel

strong communication skills.
