develop strategies that maximize operational efficiencies and cost effectiveness of the entire supply chain -ensure that all sourcing and procurement activities support and are aligned with supply chain strategies -establish roles/responsibilities with stakeholders -support/manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders -evaluate demand forecasts and budgets -understand and drive new customer requirements -drive supplier consolidation and leverage spend across the enterprise
perform needs analysis/gather business requirements -understand/analyze the applicable market -manage the competitive bidding/vendor selection process -negotiate products/services and pricing -procure-to-pay -ensure adherence to applicable business standards and requirements -negotiate terms and conditions -manage contract documents -drive execution of contract terms and conditions -utilize contract management systems -ensure alignment with business and financial goals
order management -invoice processing/management - approval and audit -req-to-po management -presales consulting - buyer assistance -program management -maintain catalogues
tier vendors based upon risk profile -develop and monitor vendor management performance plans -develop and ensure compliance with vendor management regulatory and contractual compliance plans -develop and implement corrective action plans
reporting -analytics -technology/tools assessment, implementation and management -budget management -cost-saving activities -procurement operations performance management -coordination of sourcing and procurement communications (internal/external) -development and governance of sourcing and procurement policies and procedures
