lhh recruitment solutions are delighted to be partnering with our client based in peterborough on a permanent basis the role is paying a salary between gbp30,000 - gbp32,000 p/a dependant on experience, and offers hybrid working role - financial analyst report to - head of commercial finance role objectives - primary business partner for ireland sales team and ireland country manager. strong control over forecast and analysis of dcm and pmr. provide support to the tpi team (uk/ireland/nordics) in holidays and absence period. your responsibilities will include: - work with the finance senior analyst to establish and measure targets/kpis for the business assist in the production of monthly reports: actual, budget, prior years deviations and analysis explanations drive local forecasting and reporting processes prepare monthly review pack after month end for the country manager prepare dcm analysis and pmr analysis on actuals and forecast support rolls up process within the s&op process support pp process (pp done by trade partner which is missing today) weee report for ireland and uk ireland sox control responsible for month-end activities (accruals / prepayments) generate analytical reports and other ad hoc reports as required work as a point of reference between local logistics and the central finance team support the preparation of budgets and forecasts support the business in preparing cost analysis reports support the business with administrative activities minimum requirements preferred skills and experiences: - sap knowledge prior experience in logistics working towards finance qualifications graduated, (acca/cima qualified or part qualified - nice to have) advanced knowledge of excel attention to detail, enthusiastic and keen to learn competent in use of it systems comfortable working in a fast-paced environment (preferably manufacturing) a team player with excellent communication skills, able to engage with both a finance and non-finance audience being able to use own initiative and resolve problems / come up with new solutions diligence and high attention to detail
