warehouse workers and supervisor jobs – day shift - hauppauge, ny monday-friday – 1st shift positions are available (with opportunities for ot), hauppauge, long island salary ranging between $17.50 to $20/hour.(significantly higher for supervisory positions, depending upon experience) fantastic benefits.  

the warehouse technician will be directly responsible to perform all functions associated with inventory maintenance and picking items according to order tickets.  as a warehouse associate, you will perform a variety of functions to check, receive, and verify accuracy of part locations and quantities. in addition to counting parts and filling orders, you will conduct first line, basic quality assessment of parts for damage and defects.

forklift/pallet jack knowledge is a plus, but not required.

job duties/responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

assist with pulling material for technicians when necessary

safely perform the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.

operates handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.

keep an neat and orderly work area and contribute to the all around neatness of the warehouse.
