finance assistant (manchester based with some flexible and home working) the salary for this role is £22,170 per annum plus some great benefits
working as part of our finance team you will undertake a range of finance tasks to support the team, in addition to playing a key role in ensuring internal and external reporting deadlines are met. a varied role which will include, amongst other tasks:
processing and posting purchase invoices and credit notesreconciling supplier statementsprocessing director’s credit card transactionsprocessing bank transactions and producing monthly bank reconciliationssupplier query resolutionpreparing and processing the weekly payment runposting of petty cash transactions across multiple offices
about you
the ideal candidate will have a genuine passion about working within this sector and have proven experience in a similar finance role of at least 2 years.
be experienced using sage and an advanced user of microsoft excelability to work alone as well as part of a teamhigh level of numeracy and literacy skills.good interpersonal skills.ability to work under pressure and react to unforeseen issues in an ever-changing work environment.proactive and intuitive approach to tasks.high accuracy and attention to detail.
