working hours & shift pattern:

full time, 37.5 hours per week and the flexibility to consider part time, with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week (training is full time for the first 6 weeks). you'll work on a rotating shift pattern between the hours of 8:00am to 18:00pm from monday to friday, as this is when our contact centre is currently open. (you will however be contracted to a rotating shift pattern of between 8.00am to 8:00pm monday to friday, 1 in 4 saturday's and 1 bank holiday a year).

our interview stages:

following your application, you'll receive an email inviting you to complete an assessment. once the assessment has been completed and reviewed, the next stage is a short telephone interview with one of our friendly team managers. the final stage will be an interview at either our workplace hub in bournemouth or virtually. we'll give you lots of information in advance to help you prepare, and one of the talent acquisition team will always be on hand to offer help and support if you need it.

induction & training:

what you'll be doing:

following your fully supported training, which will give you the skills and confidence for your role, you'll answer calls from people going through various health problems (from physio to cancer treatment) and advising them on their claim. sometimes you'll need to decline a customer request too. this will involve using judgement to take responsibility for gathering information and finding out answers, putting your customer's interests at the heart of every decision you make.

excellent organisation and time management skills, you'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities.

a genuine desire to help others and have an empathetic approach.

excellent written and verbal communication skills.

possess a strong willingness to learn.
