Small food equipment repair business looking to add to our team.
this position is for full time, 40 hours a week, with weekly pay every friday. you will be provided with a company take home vehicle, tools to execute the job and all parts and fuel is company provided.

job description; perform preventative maintenance on food equipment and machinery, ice machines, ovens etc. note equipment issues on tickets and report to office manager to seek approval for repair. perform follow up repairs on said equipment, replacing parts as needed.
assist lead techs with other jobs as needed and overflow calls. current travel path includes 40 locations with committed pm service. locations are in kansas city, wichita, and out laying areas such as salina and sedaila. we have many other locations to service (over 170) as we continue to grow.

requirements;
18 and older, valid driver license with no active restrictions.
must be able to stoop, push, pull or maneuver up to 75lbs.
must be semi mechanically inclined, know how to use tools (take things apart and put back together).
we will conduct all on job training you will need to perform the tasks and succeed within the field.

the position is ideally suited for someone that would like to enter the mechanical maintenance/hvac field at an entry level position. must be ok with traveling/driving up to 200-300 miles a day. job is very mechanical and requires mechanical knowledge, such as how to take things apart and reassemble. if you’ve worked on vehicles, done electrical/plumbing, or perhaps shop classes in school and work well with your hands this job is for you. we provide all on job training with lead techs or the owner directly. there is room for advancement to full on technician as you grown and learn the equipment.

starting pay base is $17 an hour with optimal raises at 90 days with good performance. one week paid vacation available after six months of service. second week after one year.
