Maintenance technician - united states, north kingstown
our client is a defense contractor (based in europe) that is seeking a maintenance technician to join its staff supporting long-standing client in ri. primary duties include:
- perform corrective and preventative maintenance as well as installations and modifications of manufacturing machinery.
- ensure working areas are safe in accordance with sop's and osha
position reports to respective shift supervisor.
ideal candidates for maintenance technician will possess the following:
- associates degree in electro-technology, vocational/trade schooling and/or military (technical) training.
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
- understanding of lean (5s), gmp, and osha
- must be able to obtain/pass us government clearance
