monday to friday - days - 7.30am until 4.30pm and 12.30pm friday finish

the role:

knowledge and practical skills regarding the application of wet paint in the aerospace sector including wet spray on to static metallic components including prime, top coat and finishes specific customer standards including nadcap.

this role would suit an individual with a minimum of 4 years' experience working within aerospace manufacturing and paint spraying with the primary job duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to:

* good working knowledge of wet paint application in the aerospace sector including nadcap standards.

* experience of wet spray onto static components using gravity air fed spray gun and paint preparation to standard operating procedures

* basic understanding on 1st and 3rd angle engineering drawings and masking from an engineering drawing

* the ability to spray onto metallic components- prime, top coat and finishes.

* pre and post testing of painted components i.e. tape test and solvent resistance testing

* inspection skills including viscosity, film thickness and visual inspection and to self inspect to all required standards

* well organised person who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team and drive to expand knowledge and experience.

* willing to be trained in all areas of the internal treatments process.

the minimum expected qualifications required to successfully perform the job and with at least 3 years' experience of working to aerospace manufacturing standards: -

* familiar with working to tight tolerances within aerospace

* attention to detail and can-do attitude

* ability to work in a team and independently

* ability to use own initiative
