adecco is looking for an innovative and personable welder for a temp-to-perm position in ball ground, ga. this position is responsible for setting up and operating welding equipment together to perform difficult welding operations on a wide range of metals and alloys for complicated subassemblies and assemblies. this position pays $25.00 per hour. 40+ hours per week.
job duties:
assemble, align, square up and tack weld a variety of complicated subassemblies and assemblies using 8/ms, steel tape, straight edge, squarer, clamps, jacks’ fixtures, templates, and similar equipment to facilitate alignment and assembly.
perform stick welding as required.
required knowledge, skills, and abilities: must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints. must have experience working with hand tools, grinders, air tools, welding machines, measuring tools, and other related equipment.
education/experience: high school diploma, g.e.d., or equivalent work experience. at least one year of formal welding training or the equivalent level of experience.
physical demands: lift to 50 lbs. frequently floor to waist.
postural demands: standing continuous walking continuous bending/stooping continuous squatting/kneeling continuous lifting continuous miscellaneous demands: two person lifting tasks, use of assistive devices for lifting, pushing, and pulling including hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
must have asme certification.
requirements:
2+ years of experience operating commercial welder.
hogh school diploma/ged
own your own welding hood
