Looking for field service tech las vegas and surrounding area - united states, lasvegas
We are a point-of-sale company looking for a field service tech in las vegas area. you will be driving to our customer locations (mainly grocery stores), evaluating and servicing their pos equipment, also working on self-checkouts, hopefully to a satisfying conclusion. so need to find someone who is good working on their own, communicates well with co-workers and has good to great customer service skills. looking for someone who has been a service tech, has technical experience or even someone who is a hobbyist who is motivated and likes to work on electronics.
this is mainly hardware based but will also do software. we supply the vehicle you take home, gas card, maintenance card, laptop, tools and whatever you need to perform your job efficiently. having said that, you will need to have a good driving record, pass background check and drug screening.
the job covers las vegas and surrounding areas. you will have to head to bullhead city on occasion and up to hualapai (peach springs area). you drive to our customer locations, and if a good day you get their equipment working and head to the next job until time to go home. if a bad day, you will get stuck at the store later than you want for a variety of reasons and will have to persevere through it with patience. you will have help from co-workers and software support team but i need someone who can handle challenges from time to time.
job is full-time. basically 9 to 5 but there are projects we do that are on odd hours and will require you to start early or work late. once you are comfortable at job you will swap weekends with the other tech and cover any weekend emergency calls. you won't be called out all the time but it will happen.
