adecco is hiring immediately for a lab tech with a local client in louisville, ky. lab techs perform essential duties with pay starting at $18-$20/hour, plus available overtime. in this role, you will:
support production of hearth ovens by performing the following
stainless steel sheet metal fabrication (operating laser cutter and cnc bending press, you will receive all required training)
assemble components including laser printing, electronic controls assembly, wiring harnesses, and oven cavity
perform quality inspection of material and oven final assembly
help to validate and maintain standard work procedures and process
perform all in-line safety and quality testing., including final assembly performance testing
pack and crate ovens to ready for shipping
work with the team leader to control and track part/material inventory
work with the team leader on continuous improvement
operate forklift
follow all safety guidelines and instructions
requirements:
high school/ged
be 18 years of age or older
be legally authorized to work in the united states without restriction
be able to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines which are in english
pass a background check, drug screening, and complete a medical health questionnaire
prolonged standing, frequently handling various parts for assembly, frequent walking, reaching at waist level, pushing/pulling, grasping/squeezing, pinching
have fine motor dexterity, neck flexion, and be able to use air tools
be able to reach overhead, reach at shoulder level, reach at knee and floor level
bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, ladder/stair climbing, pivoting, twisting, neck extension/rotation, and using vibratory tools
handling and lifting of parts and/or equipment (minimum of 42 lbs. lifting/carrying and 40 lbs. pushing/pulling)
