trainee flooring technician
our client has been trading for 20 years and in this time they have established themselves as one of the leading flooring companies in the industry.

they are looking for trainees to join their trainee installer scheme. the candidates will be fully trained in preparation and installation of specialist industrial and commercial resin and cementitious flooring systems. successful candidates will be put on an 2 year ferfa (resin flooring association) apprenticeship. if completed the candidate will receive an nvq level 2 certification. in conjunction with this they will be fully trained in our clients key products and processes, these include all types of resin flooring installation, screeding, concrete polishing, cementitious finishes and all types of subfloor preparation.
cscs card would be preferable but not a necessity.
the works that our client undertakes are normally in and around the the m25, however this is job dependant and you can be required to work further afield as necessary.
salary will be £80 - £120 per day dependant on experience.

positive attitude - a can-do attitude is the most important attribute our client is looking for.willing to learn and take advice - there are many systems processes and machines to master. experience isn’t as important as a good attitude.punctual - they work to tight deadlines so good time keeping is of the upmost of importance.physically demanding - the majority of the processes that our client carries out demand high energy levels.team player - you will be part of a 2-3 man team day to day. having a great team ethic is extremely important.

industrial flooring is an industry where there will always be a need for skilled workers. if you would like to join a forward thinking, progressive company then our client could be the right fit for you. it is normally early starts and can sometimes be late finishes, it is hard work, but at the same time it is highly rewarding. you will be paid for any extra hours worked and there is ample opportunity for overtime.
