adecco is hiring immediately for a manufacturing technician with a local client in austin, tx. manufacturing technicians perform essential duties with pay starting at $20.00/hour to $28.90/hour, with overtime. in this role, you will perform high level electromechanical assembly on state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
responsibilities:
utilize routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts, and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components
perform electromechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair; identifies and corrects errors
attend required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures, and practices
promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or safety dept.
follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly; actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries
utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components
enters data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details (may perform computer programming, repair or software installs)
details finished work; receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform built, test and repair; inspects parts for defects; troubleshoots and improves processes
requirements:
4+ years of electro/mechanical assembly/basic test experience or 2+ years of electro/mechanical assembly experience / basic test experience plus an associate degree
requires strong skills in problem solving, communication, team skills, and quality
high school diploma is required + 8 years of related experience (technical associate degree preferred)
ability to work flexible hours and overtime, as needed
requires knowledge of ms word, excel, powerpoint

multiple shifts available:
1st shifts start time varies between: 5:00am to 6:00am
2nd shifts start time varies between: 3:30pm to 5:00pm
3rd shifts start time varies between: 6:30pm to 7:00pm
candidates need to be flexible and can be asked to work any day of the week
shifts can run from 8 hours to 10 hours a day + overtime
