adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for electronic assembly positions in melbourne, fl. these electronic assembly positions are temp - perm opportunities! electronic assembly positions require candidates to be able to solder and assembly products, and work independently following company specification and blueprints, in a manufacturing environment. if you meet the qualifications listed below – apply now!

job duties:

hand soldering pc boards, inspection, assembly, and testing of electronic assemblies

• electronic assembler with soldering experience; performs all processes in an electronics production process, including manual assembly and automated testing

• perform hand soldering by utilizing a microscope to remove, install, align and straighten parts; modification and assembly of components and subassemblies using a build procedure

• running automated tests on electronic subassemblies and finished products; daily build preparation and unboxing of build components (approximately 3lbs each)

• pre-programming of components using a pc with proprietary software (computer literate)

• inspect work for defects and perform quality checks and boxing of completed units

required skills:

• experience working in electronics or electro-mechanical fabrication, assembly, and/or testing

• strong smt and thru-hole hand soldering and repair experience - knowledge of proper esd handling practices

• mechanical skills (e.g., hand tools, drills, electric screwdrivers)

• pc skills to perform automated product testing and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in electronic/mechanical assembly

• ipc soldering and ipc esd certifications preferred (but not required) -  must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
