as a welder, you will:
set up and operates a variety of production machines and tools including spot welders, scissor welder, projection welder, sander, punch presses, mig welder, tig welder, press brakes, gas welder and others.
select correct tooling and fixtures and adjusts equipment to correct settings.
train others on machine operation, safety, and following department guidelines.
perform operator machine maintenance, clean, monitor for oil leaks, lubricate, drain water traps, listens for unusual noises, and looks for worn belts and components.
work safety and efficiently on a large variety of parts, meeting strict weld quality and close part tolerance requirements.
