Electrical mechanical technician - united states, springfield (massachusetts)

adecco staffing is working to with a company in natick. ma. we are sourcing for an electrical- mechanical technician on first shift. this is a temp or temp to hire position.

hours: flexible 9:00am – 5:30pm monday through friday

pay: $30-40/hr doe
 

job responsibilities:

align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, and microscopes.

analyze and record test results and prepare written testing documentation.

inspect parts for surface defects.
install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.

wiring, crimping, and plumbing is required

repair, rework, and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances.
test performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments such as oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, and bridges.

verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.

must be detail oriented

candidate should be well organized, detail oriented, and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously

this position requires strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

must have good “hands-on” skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimum supervision

the ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a solid work ethic

candidate must possess good written and verbal communication skills

reliable (solid attendance)
