Test technician - united states, springfield (massachusetts)

adecco is assisting a customer who is recruiting for a test technician in franklin, ma.  the rate of pay for this temp to perm opportunity ranges from $22.00 to $28.00 depending on experience. the test technician performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results. records data from testing in standard formats and provides results to product and engineering teams. assists technical teams with recommendations to resolve testing problems, roadblocks or equipment malfunctions that impact the performance or validity of testing.  requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment. the position requires extreme attention to detail and organization, a complete understanding of electrical components and electric theory, and the use digital multimeter and various test equipment. 

 

requirements

minimum of a high school education.  technical certificate in electrical controls is desired

3+ years’ experience in control panel testing reading schematics and electrical diagrams.  

highly motivated, detail oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.  

experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panel is a must.
