essential duties and responsibilities:
work in a fast paced environment.
inspect and issue materials/tooling for orders.
perform inspections on parts and complete assemblies utilizing calipers, micrometers and other measuring devices.
read and interpret drawings.
maintain quality records.
perform in-house calibration as required.
perform internal audits utilizing iso 9001, as9100 and nadcap standards.
work requires individual to enter plant areas where performance factors such as: heat, humidity, noise, lifting of materials and working around equipment will be encountered.
comply with all safety requirements and proper use of ppe (personal protection equipment).
other related activities as deemed necessary.
ability to follow directions carefully and ask questions if unclear of directions.
ability to work quickly and accurately with attention to detail.
ability to stand for extended periods of time.
ability to work with minimum supervision without disturbing others.
education and experience requirements:
requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
6 months experience working with iso 9001, as9100 and/or nadcap is preferred.
physical requirements:
must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds at times.
ability to move around the warehouse.
