this assistant operations position is in a warehouse facility where the individual will be assisting the dispensing pharmacists and pharmacy technicians package customer orders for shipment. you will also assist with stocking supplies and other tasks associated with the department.
physical demands: applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds and can reach, twist, turn, bend, stoop and walk for up to 10 hours per day
work environment: warehouse may be licensed in some states by the state board of pharmacy and therefore have security/pharmacy restrictions. may be exposed to hazardous materials through the processing of returned goods.

packages orders for shipment in accordance with cvs specialty guidelines.
picks product and ancillary supplies according to individual customer or commercial ship orders as permitted by state pharmacy regulations.
responsible for maintaining the stock in the warehouse area in a clean and organized manner.
assists in conducting physical inventory and daily cycle counts.
responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by complying with the sop’s for safety.
duties as needed
tracking customer orders.
assist with checking inventory for product recalls.
responsible for daily tracking of customer orders through the daily exception report on the fed-ex system.
shipping orders via preferred designated courier.
what do we need from you???????
1 year experience in a warehouse or purchasing environment, data entry experience helpful.
past experience in pharmacy a plus.
knowledge of packing and shipping with national carriers..
