the maintenance mechanic will be performing a wide variety of maintenance and repair work on plant equipment, machinery, and facility. performs facility and machine preventative and general maintenance with little or no technical direction required.  orders parts needed and contracts assistance as required. responsible to recommend and suggest repair and replacement as needed. 

 

schedule: 3pm - 11pm monday - friday

 

exemplary duties/responsibilities:

performs preventative and general maintenance on equipment and facility

recommends necessary repairs on facility, machines, and other equipment

troubleshoots and repairs machine tools and other equipment

maintain operation of pumps, and motor drive machinery

coordinates work with outside contractors as required.

maintains a clean factory environment with safety as a major consideration

makes recommendations for safety improvements.

 

knowledge: basic welding techniques and knowledge of pneumatic circuits, electrical, plumbing, hvac, along with carpentry and other general construction techniques.
