Production manager - united states, pasadena (california)

we need to improve/expand our production capacity and strengthen qc/qa functions in line with supply chain management. we are seeking a talented, creative, and experienced

production supervisor who is responsible for planning. operating, directing, and organizing production functions.

responsible for and oversee daily production activities that include maintenance, safety, sanitation, inventory control, qc, profit/cost analysis, and team member relationships.

supervise and monitor the execution of all production activities. ensure the highest quality of handling, processing, and storage of raw materials (seafood).

accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and disciplining employees, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.

effectively communicate and collaborate with other functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient operation flow.

oversee the highest standard of allergens/cross-contamination protocols. able to adhere to rigorous food storage, material handling, haccp, and sanitation requirements.

develop and direct detailed facility productivity improvement plans incorporating organization design and key performance indicators.

responsible for all required documentation and paperwork, including sops. production/packaging records, master cleaning sanitation lists, schedules, incident reports and investigations, and any other paperwork deemed necessary
