about the role

cluster sales manager, fixed term maternity cover

we have a fantastic opportunity to join the sales team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months. supporting two unique properties in brighton. each with their own individual character, history and charm.

you need to be a highly self-motivated and organised sales professional with a passion for outstanding service delivery and a hunger to maintain and drive new business across different market segments. an excellent communicator with outstanding people’s skills and the confidence to present to senior decision makers and forge strong business relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.

this role offers a diverse portfolio of tasks. as a cluster sales manager under the general guidance and supervision of the regional director of sales, you will ensure that both brands are represented whilst actively looking for new opportunities and cross selling all hotels within your cluster but also the wider group of mal / hdv. prepare and execute the hotels sales and marketing plan. negotiate rates and contracts to increase and maintain a solid customer base, account management and new business development that will help achieve and exceed budgeted goals per property, and much much more for you to get your teeth into!

experience in a similar role would be beneficial and a working knowledge of the hotel industry is essential.”
