lead building safety manager gbp60,000 to gbp65,000 - home working available we are seeking a safety professional to join a well-established housing association with an incredibly diverse and exciting stock to lead a new division, you will work closely with a team of technical specialists and other safety professionals to help deliver this market leading function! the main purpose of this role is to facilitate the associations goal and passion to deliver safe communities within the portfolio that covers the south of the uk and make a positive impact on the lives of those who they support through the delivery of building safety initiatives. this team will play a key part in improving the way property safety is managed and how issues are remediated as well as to support the dedicated team of building safety managers and professionals through the provision of leadership and innovation. as the lead building safety manager your responsibilities will include: delivering compliance while ensuring an effective programme of improvement and innovation is delivered across high-risk stock and the delivering of both the fire and building safety act. managing and reviewing appropriate data management systems to record all testing, inspection, and remedial works to help facilitate the creation and management of building safety cases advising on improvements and projects that occur within the exciting and complex stock supported by a collaborative and knowledgeable workforce collecting and analysing information regarding the high-risk properties to ensure or help eliminate any unknown factors the ideal lead building safety manager will have: experience or a background within fire safety and be willing to work towards building a wider knowledge base in other compliance areas relevant fire safety qualifications with a membership to a relevant body ideally at aifiree or equivalent a passion for self-development and a willingness to undertake through the employers funding the ciob level 6 in building safety management full clean driving license with own transport experience within a property-based environment ideally residential (student accommodation, local authority, managing agents, property management or social housing to name a few examples) in return, the successful lead building safety manager will be offered a starting salary of up to gbp65,000 plus a competitive package including flexible working & home working, impressive company pension scheme of up to 24% combined contributions, a commitment to cpd and further qualifications, 25 days leave rising to 30 days + bank holidays on top. this is an urgent requirement, and we have immediate interview availability. to ensure you don t miss out on this excellent opportunity, please reply to us today on (phone number removed) or email (url removed) to express your interest
