rugby is the largest site within the britvic group, producing up to 65% of the company's volume. the factory has multiple lines, producing can, pet and aseptic products within the juices, carbonates and sports drinks categories. major brands produced at the site include pepsi, 7up, tango, gatorade and fruit shoot. all of our factories are introducing new lines as well as upgrading the canteens and rest areas this year, it's an exciting time to join britvic with the upcoming investments. we're creating environments to enable you to think outside the bottle and create a better tomorrow for our communities, employees and customers.

the role:

as a shift engineer will own the delivery and world class technical excellence in fault resolution and maintenance.

we care about our plants so your role will play an integral part in focusing on maintenance, identifying and deploying strategic efficiencies and continually striving to support the progression and development of the site, whilst keeping our peoples safety top of mind.

we believe we are stronger together and as a shift engineer this means you will spend your time working in partnership with our core operations teams as well as the central engineering department focusing on timely and quality outputs.

skills and experience

we are looking for a shift engineer who has a proven track record of maintenance service delivery and is comfortable working in a target driven environment with measured kpi's as we always act with pace.

you must have a strong multi-skilled background (with an electrical bias) able to understand root cause of machine breakdown and develop solutions to engineer out.

you must have experience of safety systems and providing technical expertise for intrusive planned and preventative maintenance schedules as well as health and safety environmental legislation.

an onc or hnc in electrical/mechanical engineering is paramount as well as city and guilds or relevant qualification.
