gbp50,650 per annum plus benefits

as a project manager you will be responsible for the delivery of all property-based projects under your management. you will ensure that projects deliver to their scope on time and on budget while engaging with stakeholders including the wider it function, procurement, and property teams to deliver the projects successfully.

key responsibilities include:

management of high profile and technically complex business change ensuring adherence with industry best practice and methodology.

development and maintenance of detailed project plans covering all aspects of project delivery.

production of weekly and monthly reports detailing progress, milestones, costs, resources and benefits tracking

management of the project delivery ensuring exceptions are change managed under the governance of project boards.

close internetworking with sme's managers ensuring that resources are committed and planned appropriately.

transition of new contracts into operational use and, to target operating model, through application of effective controls, project management and overall work and resource planning and management.

ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery through the establishment of policies and procedures that support property strategy, operational and business change requirements and mitigate risk to the availability of it services.

about you:

you will be able to demonstrate our values (which are accountable, respectful, courageous and strong). you will already have a comprehensive understanding of project management practices along with knowledge of governance and quality assurance and prince2.

you must also have:

5 years+ broad experience in managing projects and be able to demonstrate management of teams taking projects from idea through to implementation and acceptance into service in an enterprise environment.

managing service providers/suppliers in an outsourced environment in a project management capacity.

managing business change and transformation challenges.

it would be great if you also have:

excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people understand

strong interpersonal and leadership skills - collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills

ability to work with minimal supervision and plan and organise personal workload to ensure priorities and deadlines are met
