a leading london market insurer is looking for a environment manager to join a centralised team, working closely with infrastructure. you will be working all things technology environment, including all day to day applications, and how it fits into their governance and guide lines.

this is a very fitting and exciting opportunity if you enjoy technical delivery, have an eye for detail on environment requirements, and can communicate technical requirements.

this role sits in the it environment management team, where you will be responsible for planning, support strategy, coordination and day to day management of the application environment, ensuring environments are fit to use for their iep programme, ensuring all deliveries are on time and maintained correctly.

in order to be considered this role you must have strong experience of environment management, including co-ordination, planning, and delivery of environment governance. this role requires an understanding of

db refreshes, db access, server access, application

windows 2012/2019, active directory, team foundation server (tfs), iis, databases (ms sql) etc

infrastructure and azure environment (preferably)

ideally you will have experience working in an agile environment with multiple delivery tools: ms project, jira, confluence, for this role financial service experience is desired, not essential.
