we are looking for homeless services officers to join the very busy homeless services team.

this role will involve working more closely with other agencies, such as mash24, with opportunities for co-location with other agencies across the city.

this role involves hybrid working, some office and some home working and site visits where appropriate. the working hours for this role are a mixture of 9-5 and 10-6, monday to friday, with a need to be flexible according to the needs of our customers.

we are looking for someone who is upbeat and enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and the drive to make change happen. you will be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and how systems can support this process, partnership working and best practice.

you need to be committed to providing excellent customer service and respecting people with different life experiences and backgrounds whether they are people you work for or those you work with.

you will be interviewing customers who are homeless or threatened with homelessness, assessing their support and re-housing needs, in accordance with housing and homelessness legislation. this includes providing housing advice, seeking ways to prevent and resolve homelessness and reducing the overall impacts of homelessness on our customers.
