our client has built two successful national window cleaning businesses and now your local is the third. the previous experience of fast growth and three family generations of window cleaning since 1919 have come together to present a modern version of this very fragmented service industry with big aspirations and an opportunity to join a business that is going to break the mould.

the role of people manager within your local is a new role with a fantastic opportunity to grow an essential part of the business. this role will support the business in recruitment and training and development of all employees. ensuring robust hr systems and processes are implemented and adhered to.

in addition to the above, good personal skills and strong customer service is essential to ensure good relationships with all internal and external clients.

the people manager is expected to support and follow the company values, policies and objectives. additionally, also supporting any areas of the business when required.

job responsibilities include

serving as the first point of call for all human resources queries.support the development and implementation of processes, policies, and procedures.manage all areas including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, training and development and these are recorded, filed, and reported accurately.generate and report information and audits relating to employees and people management.ensure knowledge of employment law is current and remain up to date on any legislative changes.
person requirements

a minimum of 3 years' experience within a people management role.ideally, cipd qualified to level 5 or level 3 with a view to working towards level 5.well-rounded knowledge in employment law and gdpr.competent with the use of various it such as the production of reports on excel, word, powerpoint, and ability to use microsoft outlook and bespoke company it software.excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate with colleagues at various levels.the ability to deal with conflict and to build positive working relationships and hold difficult conversations.ideally experienced within a variety of employment contracts.
