Iso information security / qhse consultant - united kingdom, letchworth garden city, hertfordshire

we are looking for dynamic and self-motivated management system professionals to join our team of consultants. practical experience of iso standards, combined with a solid grasp of process, attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to talk sense to both senior management and operatives are essential for delivering a service that our clients consider to be outstanding.

this is an interesting and challenging role focused on helping organisations of all sizes and sectors in the uk by implementing best-practice management systems compliant to iso standards and supporting them to achieve, maintain and develop accredited certification to standards such as iso 9001, iso 14001, iso 27001, iso45001 and iso 50001.

our head office is in letchworth garden city, hertfordshire, but the successful applicant will be required to travel to clients' sites in london and the south-east of england. in recent years we have used a hybrid working model as a complementary element to our business and welcome applicants looking for remote working as part of their terms and conditions.

role & responsibilities:

conduct internal audits in any of the following iso standards:

- iso 27001 (information security)

- iso 9001 (quality)

- iso 45001 (health & safety)

- iso 14001 (environmental)

- iso 22301 (business continuity)

- to update and maintain legal registers for our' clients

to support the delivery of certification to other british and international standards as required, work for our clients to maintain and develop their management systems and retain ukas accredited certifications to iso standards

desired skills and experience:

- iso management systems experience is essential - candidates for this role must have been involved in or managed at least one iso management system implementation project and have a strong understanding of iso standards.

- candidates must have experience of carrying out internal audits.

- lead auditor qualification essential.

- health & safety management qualification (iosh or nebosh) & practical knowledge desirable.

- excellent english skills (both written and spoken) are essential.

in return they offer a salary of £35-50k which is dependant on experience.
